Dijaros Wares ("we," "us") runs dijaroswares.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We've kept it plain on purpose.
What we collect
When you place an order or contact us, we collect the information you give us: typically your name, email, shipping address, and the details of your order. Payment card numbers go straight to Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
As you browse, we also collect basic, aggregate analytics, such as which pages are viewed, a rough idea of location by country, and the kind of device you're on. This helps us understand what's working. It isn't tied to your name, and we don't build advertising profiles about you.
How we use it
- To fulfill, ship, and support your order
- To respond to questions you send us
- To understand how the site is performing, in aggregate
- To measure how our Pinterest Pins perform, if you accept advertising cookies
- To meet our tax, accounting, and legal obligations
What we don't do
- Sell or rent your information to third parties
- Store your full payment details on our own servers (Stripe handles those)
- Send you marketing you didn't ask for
Third-party services
We rely on a few trusted companies to run the shop. Each one handles only what it needs to, and each has its own privacy policy:
- Stripe: payment processing and checkout
- Vercel: hosting and privacy-friendly analytics
- Resend: order and support email
- Upstash: secure storage of order records
- Pinterest: measuring how our Pins perform (only if you accept advertising cookies)
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep your cart working. These are always on, since the site can't function without them.
With your consent, we also use Pinterest advertising cookies to understand which Pins bring people to the shop. These do not load until you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. If you decline, no Pinterest cookies are set.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them to support you and to meet tax and accounting requirements, then remove them. Analytics are aggregate and aren't linked to you. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below), and we will, unless we're legally required to keep it.
Keeping it safe
The site runs over a secure (HTTPS) connection, card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, and access to order information is limited to the two of us who run the studio. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share.
Children
Our shop and products are meant for adults. We don't direct the site to children under 16 or knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has shared information with us, email us and we'll remove it.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, request a copy, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@dijaroswares.com and we'll take care of it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the shop grows. When we do, we'll change the date at the top, and we'll note any significant change on this page.
